Information we collect
From you, when you place an order:
- Your name, email address, and phone number
- The name and phone number of the person receiving the greeting
- Any details you give us about the recipient so we can personalize the greeting
- Audio you upload or record on our site, if you choose to add your own personal greeting
- Your scheduling choices, if you book a live call
Automatically:
- Basic technical information from your browser, such as your device type and general location, used to display prices in your local currency
We never see or store your card details. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe.
How we use your information
- To create and deliver the greeting you ordered
- To contact you about your order
- To schedule a live call, if you booked one
- To process your payment and issue refunds
- To keep basic business records as required by law
We do not sell your information. We do not use it for advertising.
Text messages
If you provide a mobile number, you consent to receive text messages related to your order. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with the companies listed below is limited to what is needed to deliver your greeting.
When you give us a recipient’s phone number, you confirm that you have that person’s permission to send them a message on your behalf.
Who we share information with
We use a small number of service providers to run the business. Each receives only what it needs:
- Stripe — payment processing
- Telnyx — sending text messages and placing calls
- WhatsApp / Meta — delivering greetings to customers outside the United States and Canada
- Calendly — scheduling live calls
- Our web host — running the website
We may also share information if required by law.
How long we keep things
- Audio recordings — deleted within 7 days after your greeting is delivered
- Order and payment records — kept as long as required for accounting and tax purposes
- Email correspondence — kept only as long as needed to handle your request
Your rights
You can ask us to show you what information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Write to contact@ringringsongsong.com and we will respond within 30 days.
If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to object to how we use your information and to complain to your local data protection authority.
International transfers
We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process your information there and in other countries. By using our service you agree to this.
Children
Our service is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
